Our Relevelling solutions removes old defects
Your home may already have concrete stumps or brick piers, and have become out of level. This can be remedied by raising the house and lifting to level, and packing the stumps or piers. This is commonly known as a ?lift-and-pack? or ?jack-and-pack?. The packing material used is a high stress grade plastic, and is available in a variety of thicknesses to suit.
Reblocking & Underpinning Foundations has been undertaking relevelling work across Melbourne for four decades, and you can be confident that our work is of the highest standard. If you think your home needs to be restumped or relevelled, please contact us. Restumping is done by jacking up the floor to the original levels and removes the old defective stumps (sole plate must be removed) and put the new durable concrete stumps in place. Wooden stumps have a life expectancy of around 40 years (35 to 50 years) depending on soil movement, moisture and drought conditions and infestation.
