We had put up with the continual movement and cracking of the front of our house for over 20 years and considered underpinning but never seriously explored having this done. Underpinning and Reblocking Solutions was completing underpinning work on the house two doors away so I spoke with the site supervisor and he explained the process. I also had a chance to inspect the holes and preparation of the existing footings prior to the concrete being poured. I was impressed by the site supervisors knowledge of what was required and the preparation for the new concrete pads. All preparation appeared to exceed what was specified and required by the engineering drawings. We subsequently agreed to proceed with underpinning work on our house and the engineering was arranged, completed and approved promptly. The work commenced as agreed and was scheduled to take approximately two weeks but was completed well under this time period. During the work some un-expected issues were experienced but these were overcome without fuss or extra cost. Overall, we are very satisfied with the work completed and would recommend Underpinning and Reblocking Solutions for any similar work in the future.
